Professor Caidi is the principal investigator on several grants including “Revisiting the Public’s Right to Know Post 9/11” as well as “Urban Library Social Inclusion Audit, Evaluation and Tool Kit for New Immigrant youth.”  Prof. Caidi has a half dozen articles that have been or will be published this year, including a forthcoming article on “The Information Practices of Immigrants” to appear in the Annual Review of Information Science and Technology. She is also working on a book manuscript for Blackwell Publishing on access to information in a post 9/11 world.
