Confidentiality Agreements
Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements are agreements that cover the exchange of proprietary, secret information between two or more parties. They are agreements that allow researchers or companies to protect their intellectual property when disclosing information about their research by imposing a legal obligation on the recipient of the information to keep it confidential and to not use the information in an unauthorized manner.
All agreements must be reviewed by the Innovations & Partnerships Office to make sure they comply with U of T policies, before they are sent to the third party.
