2018 Bank of Canada Governor’s Award

Description

2-year award supporting exceptional assistant and associate professors who have demonstrated the potential to make exemplary research contributions in the Bank’s core function areas including monetary policy, currency, financial system stability, or funds management.

The award consists of a research grant of $25,000 per year per recipient for a term of up to two years, and is subject to an annual review and confirmation process.

Universities may nominate one candidate per faculty or school.
