The BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Awards are prestigious international prizes awarded annually in the following categories:

  1. Basic Sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics)
  2. Biomedicine
  3. Ecology and Conservation Biology
  4. Information and Communication Technologies
  5. Economics, Finance and Management
  6. Contemporary Music
  7. Climate Change
  8. Development Cooperation

Awards in each category consist of €400,000 prize money, a diploma and a commemorative artwork.

To discuss a possible nomination, please approach the awards director or coordinator for your division, or advise the contact below of your interest.
