The University of Toronto space program brings together researchers from across the disciplines to address some of the most important questions of our time. U of T’s research excellence in space science and engineering has produced some of the world’s most outstanding scholars who are investigating and developing leading space technologies and conducting cutting-edge research. Our team of investigators examines space under three broad themes:

  • understanding and sustaining the global environment
  • generating new space-related technologies
  • facilitating space travel and exploration of the cosmos
